If not commented on here, mabye you could post it on your txgator blog. I think knowing what we know now, we should not have went in. Yet leaving Iraq in it's present condition would be foolish. After we left Vietnam, 3 million inocent lives were slaughtered without protection by the North Vietnamise. How many inocent people will perish by the hand of extremists once we leave Iraq? I agree completely. Although I dont think the majority of Americans want to turn their back on Iraq. Dont know about you, but no one has ever asked MY opinion, not that of anyone I know. Of course, working on one of the largest Military bases in the world, we tend to lean to the right, which does means we are an unluckly target for media polls. We may end up with a socialist president and hopefully as soon as we do and he/she/it raises our taxes, and they will, we will start filling up congress with republicans for a few more years of no one getting anything done. Only 19% of Americans vote primarily on the economy. I'm among that percentage. I do like the Libertarian party. The problem with them in the past is they have had trouble finding legit canidates. Ross Peroe wanted to eliminate our deficit by raising the price of gas to $5.75 per gallon. Bloomberg may run as an independent! Yet although he strongly supports free trade he is criticized for raising taxes and spending as mayor. I would have answered like the latter, but I will probably never vote Republican. Nor will I vote Democrat, actually. There's more to voting than just economic issues. I'm quite conservative on economic issues but very liberal on social issues, so I'm a libertarian. That means the candidates I support will never actually get into office...ah well.
